Step 3: Application Meeting

After receiving your application and registration fee, we will contact you. You will be asked to provide your child’s academic records. After those are received, we will schedule your application meeting.

The main purpose of the conference is to thoroughly explain Liberty Christian School’s distinctive Christian education, to answer your questions and to determine the suitability of your child to both the school and grade level.

During the conference:

  • We ask that you have a clear testimony of a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and be prepared to share it.

  • We ask that you be a member of or attending a local Bible-believing church

  • Affirm the school’s Statement of Faith

  • Not be participating in practices that would be considered illegal or considered by the school as immoral or inconsistent with a positive Christian lifestyle

  • Support the philosophy, vision and mission of the school and adhere to policies and procedures of the school

Step 4: Enroll

After your Application meeting, we will give you steps for officially enrolling at Liberty Christian School.

Enrollment Fee

  • $25 application fee.

  • $150 per student for each enrollment packet submitted. This is not an additional charge on top of tuition, it holds your spot, and is applied toward your tuition. This is due June 1st.  For students accepted after this date, the fee will be due 2 weeks after families receive notification that their student(s) has been accepted. There’s a maximum of $300 per family charged.

Liberty Christian School is a foundationally accredited, independent non-denominational school in Independence, IA, and is not sponsored by a church.

The primary funding comes from tuition, but tuition alone does not cover the full cost of educating your child. We also rely on the generous support of benefactors in our community.

We work hard to keep tuition as reasonable as possible without compromising on our mission of academic excellence. We believe that parents receive an outstanding return for their financial investment when they give their children a Biblically grounded, quality education from Liberty Christian School.
